Hello beauties! Let’s touch on hydration today. When it comes to the health of you skin, it is extremely important to know that when it lacks water, hydration, it will always have issues. Which is why I want to educate and share the best way to rehydrate your skin.
What’s dehydrated skin?
The skin becomes dehydrated when it doesn’t have enough water. Water is vital to every organ of our body, specially the skin. The skin is the largest organ in our body, thus needs more water. But the skin is also one of the most venerable organ in our body because of it’s exposure to the sun and all the pollutants in our environment.
Who needs rehydration?
Anyone with dehydrated skin, no matter your skin type needs rehydration. Many skin conditions such as acne, dry patchy skin, and even extreme oiliness, are all caused by dehydration.
How to identify if you have dehydrated skin?
Unless you pay close attention to your skin behavior, like I do. I’m afraid to tell you that only your esthetician or dermatologist can help you find out. You should ask them to do a thorough analysis of your skin. And take whatever information they give you about your skin, and make a personalized skincare routine with it.
What’s the best way to rehydrate your skin?
Hydration comes from within, so drink lots of water every day. Hyaluronic acid is also know for keeping the skin hydrated. But the best time to apply it, is while the skin is still wet. Hydrating serums like the Laneige Water Bank Essence are also great for dehydrated skin.
