3 Reasons Why Your Makeup Is Breaking You Out

Hello beauties! The skin problems associated with makeup, are no strangers to us all. I personally dealt with so many painful breakouts in the pass, as a result of bad makeup practices. Which is generally caused by bacterial build-up.There is also the fact that some beauty products are just to harsh for our sensitive skin.
So, what causes our skin to freakout when we wear makeup? Is it the actual makeup products themselves or the tools we apply them with? Here are 3 main reasons why you are breaking out from your makeup.

Reason 1: Your Foundation contains skin-clogging-ingredients

If you have sensitive skin, like I do, you should only purchase foundations ( even concealers) that clearly state that the product is free of parabens, sulfates, and Phthalates. These 3 ingredients are known for clogging our pores.

Reason 2: Your makeup tools are dirty

It’s so important to make sure that the brushes and sponges you use on your face are alway clean, when applying your makeup. It’s so easy to have bacterial buildup with your makeup tools. Which is why I wash them on a daily bases, right after my makeup application. I just find it easier.

Reason 3: The Moisturizers and oils you use before your makeup

A flawless makeup look starts with a great skin care. However, you need to avoid applying too much oils or moisturizers on your face before makeup. This can cause your skin to breakout, even if you have the best foundation.

Do you normally breakout from makeup? Comment below :). Thank you so much for reading.
