This Is How I Stay Confident

Hello beauties! I get comments all the time about how I always look so confident in picture. Some even tell me that I look strong. I can tell you right know that it’s not always easy for me to just be myself. When the unwritten rules of social media tells me I need to behave a certain way. It’s really hard not to be a follower and lose your sense of self.

But I always fight the voice in my head telling me to just go with it. To try to fit in with the crowd and not branch out. Trust me, I understand the struggles of finding oneself. There was a time when I  believed that I was a failure. That I didn’t have what it takes to accomplish anything. Because I have failed and have been rejected more times than I could count. But through all of it, I didn’t give up on me. I was more determine and motivated with every failure and rejecting.

I was only able to move pass the negativity by living by these 5 tips.

Tip 1: Take the time to learn about yourself. Before you think about anything or anyone at all, you need to know who you are. Take the time to analyze your strength and weaknesses, your likes and dislikes, what your attracted to, what makes you happy, how you like to spend your time, etc.  Knowing all of these things will help you to better understand yourself. Confidence is all about self trust and self love.

Tip 2: Draw your own path. There is a reason why we don’t all look the same, speak the same languages, are from different continents, eat different foods and so on. The world is meant to be a combination of different things. There is nothing wrong in been different, unique. So don’t try to meet the standard, be your beautiful unique self, and live up to it. The world will love you for it.

Tip 3: Stay out of the box. Challenge yourself to do things that makes you uncomfortable. The only way you can grow is by experiencing new things. Do the same things, expect the same results. The more you push yourself, the more your expand your box.

Tip 4: Fake it ’til you make it. confidence does not happen over night. It’s a process that requires a lot of effort. It is OK to feel embarrassed and uncomfortable, because that only means that your pushing yourself. If your not confident know, fake it, you will make it eventually.

  2. Thank you so much for sharing these tips! I’m usually not that confident, especially whenever I’m depressed. It’s hard to fight the negative thoughts sometimes but living a holistic lifestyle is helping me manage my mental health. I hope I can develop self-love so I can be more confident. I also find it hard to go out of my comfort zone but I’m doing my best. I’m now trying to overcome my severe anxiety.
