Hello beauties! I’m so excited to announce that I will now be posting every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other Saturday! I realize that post only once a week is not enough. And My usual Wednesday posts are Fashion focus. But starting now, I will have beauty posts on Monday, Style posts on Wednesday and Favorites on Friday. I also plan on share Secret posts every other Saturday on topic I know you will love.
So back to the topic of how to get clear skin. Today I will share with you 5 steps I follow whenever I remove my makeup. Since we remove our makeup at night, this post focuses on my night time routine . My morning routine is much simple.
Step 1: Cleanse. There are two steps to my cleansing routine. I first remove my makeup with a makeup wipe. I usually add coconut oil on the cloth to prevent my skin from drying, specially in the eye area. I then take a foaming cleanser to clean my face.
Step 2: Exfoliate. With the first step, your skin should be fairly clean. Exfoliating would take is a step further by going deep into you pores are get ride of every makeup, dirt and oil that the cleanser missed. I usually exfoliate with a face spin brush.
Step 3: Tone. This step is extremely important. I know that many people skip this step mostly because they don’t know about it. But toning your skin is as important as cleaning, when it comes to breakouts. I will not go in depth on it in this post , but will definitely write a post uniquely for it.
Step 4: Mask. After all the acne preventing steps, comes the skin perfecting step. Masks are great for rejuvenating and moisturizing the skin.
Step 5: Moisturizing. It doesn’t matter what skin type you have, everyone need a moisturizer. Moisturizers are what’s going to protect your skin and keep it youthful.
I purposely left out the products I use in each of these steps, because I plan on going in depth through each of these steps. I will share the products I swear by and how I use them.
I really hope you enjoyed this post. Please let me know of any skin related problem you want me to discuss. Thank you so much for reading.
