Hiiiii! Welcome back! Today I want to discuss one of the hardest thing to possess in this day and age: Confidence. It is the key to high self-esteem, good decision making, happiness, and even success. Without confidence, you are more likely to live a less fulfilled life. You will not trust your abilities to accomplish whatever it is that you want in life. Confidence is a life essential.
However, since the birth of the Internet, confidence is attained only by those with very strong will. Social media have set beauty standards, that does not fit to all where a made up look is idealized. It has gone so bad that, some people are surgically modifying there bodies in order to fit in.
So what can you do to be more confident and love the skin you’re in? I have 4 tips that I know if you follow them you will live a more fulfilled life.
Tip 1: Take the time to learn about yourself. Before you think about anything or anyone at all, you need to know who you are. Take the time to analyze your strength and weaknesses, your likes and dislikes, what your attracted to, what makes you happy, how you like to spend your time, etc. Knowing all this will help you to know yourself, and when you know yourself, half the battle is won. Confidence is all about self trust and self love.
Tip 2: Draw your own path. There is a reason why we don’t all look the same, speak the same languages, are from different continents, eat different foods and so on. The world is meant to be a combination of different things. There is nothing wrong in been different, unique. So don’t try to meet the standard, be your beautiful unique self, and live up to it. Think of it this way, if we all thought alike, there would be no change in the world. Please be all of you, the world will love you for it.
Tip 3: Stay out of the box. Challenge yourself to do things that makes you uncomfortable. The only way you can grow is by experimenting new things. Do the same things, expect the same results. The more you push yourself, the more your expend your box.
Tip 4: Fake it ’til you make it. confidence does not happen over night. It’s a process that requires a lot of effect, if it don’t not come to you naturally. It is OK to feel embarrassed and uncomfortable, because that only means that your pushing yourself. Do what you believe in, because in the end people will judge whether you do bad or good. So live your life, your way.
I really hope that you love these topics as much as I love sharing them. Thank you so much for reading.
